Neutral Maltodextrin

Our new product Pure Maltodextrin is made solely from Maltodextrin (100% Maltodextrin, derived from corn hydrolysis). Maltodextrin is a carbohydrate made from glucose chains, the main energy substrate that contributes to muscle fiber during physical exercise. It is a very popular carbohydrate in the sports world known for its rapid action.
When we exercise, blood glucose levels decrease and the consequent degradation of glycogen to glucose occurs to cover energy needs during that time. To counteract this and maintain adequate blood glucose and energy during long-duration exercise, we need to ingest products with a high glycemic index. Hence our new launch!
Maltodextrin has a high glycemic level that allows it to replenish these energy needs and, above all, prevent fatigue.
Another advantage of maltodextrin is its osmolarity. Osmolarity influences the speed at which the body empties its stomach, allowing nutrients to pass from the stomach to the intestine where they are absorbed. There is a huge relationship between the molecular weight of carbohydrates and their osmolarity. Since maltodextrin has a higher molecular weight than other carbohydrates (such as glucose and fructose), it has a faster transit, so it is available sooner, being absorbed at a higher rate. This translates into the rapid release of glucose into the bloodstream as an energy source.
