
Attack plan to combat post-holiday excesses
Happy to be able to write about this product which is simply wonderful: Lean Protein.
Yes, and you'll say "more of the same, all proteins are alike..." Nooo! It's not like that at all. Over 80 years in the market result in a wide range of products designed and conceived for each and every need.
And it's because Lean Protein is a product designed to supplement your daily diet, especially when dieting for weight loss.
When we restrict caloric expenditure, it is very common to experience carbohydrate cravings or energy slumps. No matter how correct your diet is, this effect usually arrives sooner or later. And that's because (unfortunately) our bodies are accustomed to too much sugar. We become "addicted" to sugar. Lean Protein contains ingredients that modulate glucose absorption and metabolism, preventing cravings and energy slumps.
The assimilation of this protein is, let's say, medium, to have a greater satiety effect. It is made from milk protein, whey protein and pea protein, L-Carnitine and green tea, among other ingredients.
How to take it:
- I recommend it mid-morning or mid-afternoon (it contains a minimum of caffeine, just enough to have a metabolism-boosting effect but not to keep you awake).
- Also as part of breakfast. You can have a lean protein shake + 2 toasts with Serrano ham + 1 kiwi for breakfast and you'll be full of energy all morning.
- Also ideal as a post-workout shake. High-quality protein for muscle recovery after exercise.
You can prepare it with water, which is what I recommend. But if you're not as strict with your definition plan and want to add more creaminess, you can prepare it with skim milk or a sugar-free plant-based drink.
In addition, this protein works very well when you have complicated shifts and can't eat on time (I'm speaking from experience!). In my job, with clients, I can't stop to eat until I finish, and of course, we all know that you should eat every 3-4 hours, so what I'm doing is taking a dose of lean protein to work, mixing it with water, and that's it! It completely curbs my hunger in an instant and I continue my day with energy until the end.
