
Tips to start 2018 with good eating habits
The new year is here and plans to stay for 365 days. Now is the ideal time to resume good eating habits that we had forgotten or acquire new ones to improve our quality of life, our projects, and our health.
Organization is always the key to everything. A disordered life always leads to chaos and the consequent frustration of not achieving the goals you had set for yourself. I won't ramble on. Remember, managing your life is like learning to drive at first: the initial lessons are terrible, you lack hands, feet, and eyes to attend to everything... then, with months and years, you even enjoy driving while listening to good music.
Let's look at a series of guidelines that you probably already know, but it's never a bad idea to remember them in this brand new year.
- Set your alarm 15 minutes earlier than usual. Do you know all the things you can do and organize in 15 minutes? One of them: A good breakfast.
- Organize your nutrition because it is our energy source. It seems incredible that the most important thing, the energy we need to live and progress, is often the most neglected. I always say: "If you eat quality, you get a quality body; if you eat junk, you get a junk body."
- Buy a planner: Yes, I know everything is on your phone now, but what happened to that old habit of buying a planner at the beginning of the year where we wrote down all our projects, social commitments, reminders, work tasks, gym records, weight, etc.? Let's write! It's more than proven that writing our thoughts, goals, and tasks further strengthens our willpower and motivation.
- Organize your time. There are no excuses for not training because there is always some time. Nowadays, gyms have more than flexible hours, and you can always maintain an active life by skipping the elevator, going for a walk, cycling, skating, dancing...
- Keep your mind in good shape. It's important to exercise your mind so that stress and negative or pessimistic thoughts don't take over. Don't let them! Smile, be kind, don't let yourself be invaded by the energies of other people who might pressure you; it's essential in life to have a positive attitude.
And so on, day after day... and after approximately 21 days, you will see that all these habits will not cost you any effort; you will do everything automatically.
