Because chocolate is a must this Christmas, we offer you this Fit version of the Yule Log recipe. Although it's not strictly a fit dish, we've made it without added sugars so you can enjoy it with fewer regrets. Plus, it's a good source of calcium thanks to the skimmed fresh whipped cheese we've added.
For this recipe, we used Nut Protein Choco Vegan Crunchy instead of other chocolate spreads that are loaded with sugar. Weider's chocolate spread contains 21% protein and has a crunchy texture thanks to the hazelnut pieces it contains.
The Yule Log batter is made with Gourmet Oat Flour, Maria cookie flavor, which is even better combined with chocolate. This is an ideal source of complex carbohydrates due to its low sugar content. Below you'll find the ingredients and step-by-step preparation method.

Ingredients for a Yule Log (8 servings):
- 150 g Gourmet Oat Flour, Maria cookie flavor
- 125 g + 125 g skimmed fresh whipped cheese
- 150 g + 50 g Nut Protein Choco Vegan Crunchy
- 2 Eggs

Preparation:
- Mix 150 g of Gourmet Oat Flour, Maria cookie flavor, with 125 g of fresh whipped cheese and two eggs, then whisk.
- Spread the batter onto a baking sheet previously greased with a little oil. Spread the batter evenly across the entire tray until you have a thin layer.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes.
- Heat 150 g of Nut Protein Choco Vegan Crunchy in the microwave until it's liquid.
- Mix the liquid Nut Protein Choco Vegan Crunchy with the remaining 125 g of fresh whipped cheese and mix until a homogeneous color is achieved.
- Remove the batter from the oven, let it cool, and spread the Nut Protein Choco Vegan Crunchy and whipped cheese mixture over it.
- Then, using cling film, roll up the spread batter until it forms a log and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Remove from the refrigerator, unwrap it, spread more Nut Protein Choco Vegan Crunchy on the outside to cover it, and decorate to your liking.
- And enjoy!
