Fighting for a dream
Last weekend, the Mr. Olympia 2017 took place in Marbella, one of the most recognized international championships in Spain, where the #TeamWEIDER athletes could not be absent.
Jennifer Gómez, recent champion of the Diamond Cup 2017 Portugal in the Bikini Wellness category, had to choose to compete in the Bikini Fitness category this time, as the new category was not present in this championship. Maintaining her Wellness physique, she narrowly missed qualifying for the final with a seventh-place finish. Convinced of her potential, the athlete has decided to focus all her energy on performing her best at the Arnold Classic Europe 2017, where the presence of the nascent Bikini Wellness category has been confirmed.

Nicolae Florin, a Classic Bodybuilding athlete from Team Weider for years, fought to show his best version in this international championship. Sometimes you win and other times you learn. Although he did not make it to the final this time, the experience has served to fill him with motivation and strength for the second half of the season. Without a doubt, the important thing is to keep moving forward, as success is only achieved when the word "give up" has no place in our minds. Nicolae is a clear example of constant struggle, and we hope to enjoy his presence on the stage of ACE 2017 Barcelona again.

Víctor Gálvez, a great international promise in Men’s Physique, achieved his first international triumph in this first part of the season. It was not an easy category, as in this case, a much finer aesthetic was valued than most athletes expected. For this reason, several decided to opt for the Muscular Men’s Physique category. However, Víctor decided to fight to reach the Men’s Physique final and achieved his goal, obtaining a fifth place which, given the level present, felt like a victory. As he expressed after the championship, it is time to continue working and improve his physique for next year or, if he dares, by the end of this year. Only one final decision remains, awaiting further news: Will he surprise us with a better version in Men’s Physique or in Men’s Short?

Roberto Remacho, our Bodybuilding athlete in the up to 100kg category, continues his competitive career with great strength after his participation in Mr. Olympia. As we well know, he managed to be on the podium in three championships in this first part of the season. Although it was not possible this time, we are convinced that he will surprise us in the second part of the season with great successes. The potential of this athlete, besides being totally visible, is also reflected in the words of one of the most important figures in our sport, his coach Miguel Ángel Martínez: "Roberto has a great passion for this sport and has waited so long that any information I give him is like a sponge open to enthusiasm and passion... and with an incredible desire to learn."
From WEIDER NUTRITION, we want to extend our most sincere congratulations for your constant struggle, discipline, and sacrifice. It is a great honor to have a team of great athletes, not only in terms of sportsmanship but also as individuals. With these words, we offer you all our support to continue on the path to achieving your dreams.

GO FOR IT, CHAMPIONS!
