You can be more or less supplemented, eat better or worse, train terribly or like a great champion, and you can have the best genetics in the world. But there is something that we all carry within us, that ensures no physical, psychological, or even economic condition can knock down our goals: motivation.

It is the energy that moves the world, the energy that moves us to excel, to be the best version of ourselves. Motivation is what makes us feel alive! So please, never lose it.

At different stages of our lives, we suffer emotional ups and downs that make us decline, feel lost and adrift. Well, motivation is a habit; it's a kind of muscle that is exercised and trained so that it doesn't get lost. And if it does get lost (which is the most natural thing to happen from time to time), to have the necessary tools to recover it as soon as possible.

Today I'm going to give you a "training" for this "muscle" that is so important for athletes and for human beings:

  • Start the day positive, with positive thoughts. Many times (the vast majority) we wake up in the morning with thoughts like "I'm tired", "I'm sleepy", "I don't want to go to work", "I'm sore", "everything hurts", "every day I feel worse". Well, these thoughts are nothing more than "energetic larvae" that feed on themselves and grow and grow if you allow your mind to do so. It costs nothing to start the day! As soon as you open your eyes, start with thoughts like "smile", "how many things I'm going to do today", "today I'm one step closer to my goal", "I'm worth it", "I can do anything", "you're going to achieve it!", "enjoy life", and so on, thousands and thousands of positive phrases that fill you with energy and motivation. It costs nothing to think! Thinking positive things doesn't tire you out! Do it! Try it, every day. That positivity will invade you for the rest of the day.
  • Write down your goals: It is very positive to keep a journal of your feelings, your projects, your daily routine – in short, to have everything you want to do written down so you can read it, especially during downturns.
  • If something isn't working, change the plan!: Exactly! Change your plan but not the goal. Don't give up, don't throw in the towel if you don't see improvement. What you need to do is carefully study your body, your diet, your training method, ask for help. Don't make excuses; excuses are the number one enemy of motivation. If you truly want something, you will find a way to make it happen.

Over the years, I have seen many people achieve goals that at first glance seemed impossible, and yet they possessed motivation greater than their difficulties and ended up achieving them. Be realistic; set goals that you can achieve, but you have something very powerful inside you; you just have to see it and bring it to light.

And if you need a little extra energy, Weider offers a wide assortment of pre-workouts that can help give you what you need in your training.
