
Discovering Anny
The new #TeamWEIDER bikini athlete Anny GC, known on Instagram as @anny_gc, was introduced at Arnold Classic Europe 2017 but, on this occasion, we have the opportunity to get to know her a little better: her sports career, the differences between the competition period and the off-season, her favorite cheat meal, the sports supplements she uses… and much more!

Anny's competition category is Bikini Fitness. She started competing this year at just 24 years old in the first part of the 2017 season, and was very happy and proud of the podium finishes she achieved in all championships. The bikini body had always caught her eye, so achieving such a physique was her goal when she started weight training at the gym. She wanted to see what her body was capable of changing with effort, motivation, perseverance, and self-confidence.
Once her competition goal was achieved and after her experience, she stated that what she likes most about competing is the moment you are about to step onto the stage. That moment you share with your teammates, who have all gone through the same process for so long, in addition to the shared encouragement among athletes seconds before going out and the incredible friendships that are made along the way.
The world of Fitness completely occupies her daily life, as she works as a personal trainer in a gym in Barcelona. She is currently focused on continuing to train and maintaining a balanced and healthy diet with her weekly cheat meals. Without a doubt, she states that her favorite cheat meal is “the wonderful nachos with cheese.”
Her lifestyle inside and outside of competition doesn't vary much, as her daily diet is based on the Mediterranean diet. She loves vegetables, salads, fish, pasta, fruit, etc. During the week, she follows her diet guidelines and enjoys two weekly cheat meals, without depriving herself of anything. The only thing she always considers is the amount of carbohydrates and protein. For foods like vegetables and fruit, she allows herself to eat a free amount to feel full.
The sports supplementation she usually uses in her preparation and outside of it is the MULTIVIT UP gummy multivitamins, protein shakes like Neo Isolate Whey or Gold Whey (as post-workout and when she doesn't have time to have a meal), Oat Flour Gourmet oat flour in different flavors for making cakes, cookies… And during definition periods, she loves taking the Weider Xtreme Caps burner, which she considers her favorite product for its effects on intensity and sweating during training. The supplementation she considers essential for preparation would be a multivitamin, protein, oat flour, a natural fat burner, and L-carnitine.
Her next goal is to continue training, working, studying sports nutrition, and for 2018, in principle, to compete in the Spanish championship.
